Join us for an authentic alpine experience at the legendary Plattekill Mountain, located in the Northwestern Catskills of New York. Plattekill is the last family-owned and operated mountain in the region, a variety that is becoming few and far between in today’s changed skiing industry. Their motto -- FIERCELY INDEPENDENT -- describes them best, not owned by a corporation or group of mountains, but by a family. That's what makes a visit to Plattekill so unique: a good old-fashioned family atmosphere with a laid-back, authentic, “independent” vibe feeling. BIG mountain terrain and SMALL mountain charm.
Once described as the "Alta of the Catskills" by former POWDER editor Porter Fox, Plattekill serves up steep and challenging terrain with a palpable vibe. But this amazing mountain truly has something for everyone: 41 trails that include everything from a 2-mile long green beginner run, to steep double black diamonds with 1100' of vertical drop.
Our very accessible race will be held on a pretty tame blue slope (Shredded Mozzarella, for those of you who know the mountain), and we want to encourage everyone -- no matter what level -- to take a stab at skiing/riding the gates. Although some WASC'ers are pretty serious about winning, the true underlying spirit of the race and our club outing is to HAVE FUN!

DEADLINE FOR SIGNUPS AND PAYMENTS IS SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 8.
PAYMENT GETS YOU ON THE BUS!
Please note that you are not officially "on the bus" until you make your payment. If you sign up and do not pay by the deadline, you may be bumped by someone who signs up after you and pays for the trip.
