Hello to all Watchung,

     How was your ski year?  I hope it was a good one with lots of good memories.  I certainly enjoyed another year as president and I look forward to this upcoming ski season already!

     As of this Newsletter, we in the council are busy preparing next years calendar of ski trips and activities.  I feel a lot of energy as I prepare the club for another year of skiing and gatherings with all of my best friends, Watchung Ski Club members.

     This year we will get the calendar and information out to you early so all can plan to join us on our planned trips and socials.  I feel it is important to participate in our club trips and functions like the Annual Birthday Party, the Open House (where we promote our club and attract prospective new members), bring a friend is all we ask, or our trips both extended or Sunday buses – Especially our club outing and race which is your day or days to be with the club which you belong to.  I feel it is important that all who can – be with the club on outing days.  Also, don’t forget our socials which are always very reasonably priced, and our year end banquet.

     So, this year coming up, there is lots to think about and the information will be known to you early so you can prepare your calendars.  I will also take great efforts in making sure that any member who has awards for membership coming to them will be recognized.  There are many things to do, but I will take pride in doing them with the help of my fellow members.  This club has been part of me for a long time and I want to be a big part of it now and for some time to come.

     Here’s to having a good time with all and to days of skiing – Something I love!  Have a great summer.
