Windham Mountain is a family-friendly ski and snowboarding resort in New York's Northern Catskills offering an authentic, big mountain ski experience. Over the past three years, Windham's ownership has invested over $10 million in the resort adding three new trails, four new lifts and many snowmaking improvements. The Windham Mountain Adventure Park added a bungee trampoline, rock climbing wall and an ice skating center (which is a skateboard park in the summer). The restaurant formerly known as Vines Bistro was renamed Trail's End Tavern & Grill and completely remodeled with beautiful timber, stone and copper elements. This year, the mountain made $4.75 million in base lodge improvements and added 45 new snow guns, several thousand feet of new pipe and relocated dozens of existing guns for more snowmaking efficiency.

It all started in 1959, when a mountain became a new recreation complex for skiing. Elk Mountain, as it was named, started out with only a handful of trails. Today Elk Mountain Ski Resort has evolved into a sprawling 27 trails, and the most challenging terrain in Pennsylvania. Known as "Pennsylvania's Best," Elk was voted "Favorite Overall Resort" in the Mid-Atlantic by OnTheSnow.com, and received their 2010 Visitor's Choice Award. Come experience great trails, beautiful scenery on a true skier's mountain.

Included in our Sunday Ski Bus package:
