Memories
Posted by Pat
I guess Jerry and I first met Joe at Lake George, when he
came with Ralph and Paul. When Dorothy was in 5th grade she had
a serious illness that caused her to be in the hospital for a couple
of weeks. Joe was probably about 19 at that time. He came to the
hospital every day to spend time with Dorothy, and often brought
a funny get-well card. We have loved him since. |
Thoughts of Joe
Posted by Cathy
It's finally starting to sink that Joe has left us
for a better place. A true friend and great guy, he will truly be
missed.
Our fond memories of the good times we shared need to carry us through
the lows, and our faith that Joe is at peace and out of pain and
suffering in the after life should give us comfort. No one knows
what the future holds, so take a lesson from Joe, enjoy the times
you spend with your friends, make time for your family and live
life without regrets.
SKI HEIL Joe, you'll be with us forever! :-) xoxoxo
PS- It's a shame that the last time we saw many of our fellow members
was at Ralph's viewing, isn't it? Well, I guess it's better than
never! |

My Dear Friend
Posted by Jean Marie
Here I am again staring at this blank box, at a loss
for words, or with too many feelings, probably both. My mind is
running in random pictures from the 30+ years that Joe was in
my life. Closer sometimes than others, but I always
knew he was there. After the Memorial last night, I know that
he will always be with me in the friends that we shared and the
memories: Skiing, Lake George, Tossing aerosol cans in the fire,

| Hunting wood with a shoe
and a rope, Budd Lake, roof top parties, softball, bowling, Monday
night chats on the phone, Arts Center Concerts, watching him fix
things-anything he felt was in need of it, Dorney Park and the fan
blade through the radiator and the Wally Mobile, climbing Bromley
in the middle of the night, hearing his encouragement during the
game, singing and dancing and laughing and enjoying life......I
will miss him, really miss him....Peace to you, forever. |

HEAVEN CAN WAIT
by Jim Steinman
Heaven can wait
And a band of angels wrapped up in my heart
Will take me throught the lonely night
Through the cold of the day
And I know
I know
Heaven can wait
And all the gods come down here just to sing for me
And the melody's gonna make me fly
Without pain
Without fear
Give me all of your dreams
And let me go along on your way
Give me all of your prayers to sing
And I'll turn the night into the skylight of day
I got at taste fo paradise
I'm never gonna let it slip away
I got a taste of paradise
it's all I really need to make me stay-
Just like a child again |
Heaven can wait
And all I got is time until the end of time
I won't look back
I won't look back
Let the altars shine
And I know that I've been released
But I don't know to where
And nobody's gonna tell me now
And I don't really care
No no no
I got a taste of paradis
That's all I really need to make me stay
I got a taste of paradise
If I had it any sooner you know
You know I never would have run away from my
home
Heaven can wait
And all I got is time until the end of tmie
I won't look back
I won't look back
Let the altars shine |

To describe Joe just use the word Friend. Joe lived to help
others. If you needed something he was there. Joe was one of the
first people we met at Watchung and the main reason we joined. Joe
was a born leader. Whatever Joe was involved with was a pleasure
to be part of. |
| Joe you will be missed
but you will not be forgotten. Any time we ski down a hill
or run a trip play softball go camping or just be working on a car
i know i will think of you. Joe rest in peace we all Loved you |
